SERVE APPETIZERS

A great host knows a pool party is never complete without a delicious selection of appetizers. Keep your guests hydrated and their appetites satiated with un-fussy finger foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables, mini hot dogs, sliders, chicken wings, chips, dips and salad skewers.

Just ensure that the food you serve outdoors abides by food safety standards, especially when the temperature fluctuates.

PROVIDE POOL FLOATS

Pool floats and loungers provide endless hours of fun and relaxation. Whether you want to catch up on some reading or enjoy a good old-fashioned sunbathing session, pool floats are next-level party-starters.

From inflatable swans and peacocks to pizza slices and pretzels, pool floats are available in practically every shape and size imaginable. And the best part? You can swim up underneath them and toss a friend who’s lounging on the float into the water.

Just be prepared to have the “water toss” favor returned!

PLAY FUN POOL GAMES

By now your party’s already a huge success, but just in case things slow down, have a few party games on hand. Pool volleyball and giant Jenga are great starts. But if you want to take it up a notch, try Marco Polo, Sharks and Minnows or invest in some water blasters and soakers.

SUPPLY THE MUSIC

Last, but most certainly not least, keep a first aid kit handy! You never know when you or any of your guests may need it. Ensure that it’s well-stocked with bandages, rubbing alcohol, aloe vera gel, gauze, cotton pads, and sunscreen for those just-in-case moments.

Along with your first aid kit, we highly recommend having an emergency floatation device nearby as well.
